No one understands the underdog,
Or listens to the little ones.
Imagine all the real greatness we kill
By ignoring true brilliance.
Troubles would be solved, diseases cures, the world ahead
Yet the ones who would do it end up as grocers

The innocent cries that come from their eyes,
Screaming for love and affection.
Ignorance and hatred go like a lance through their souls.
We confuse them, hurt them, harden their hearts,
And cause unneeded tears to stain their cheeks.
As a human race, we've inflicted self-destruction
And all because we won't let them shine.
